Our return and replacement policy is designed with complete transparency and simplicity, keeping your comfort in mind. While we always hope you love what you receive, we understand that unexpected situations may arise—so we’re always here to support you with an easy, customer-friendly resolution.

Products sold at a specially reduced price are treated as sale items, whereas pieces offered at standard pricing are classified as fresh, non-sale items. Regardless of which category your product falls into, our goal remains the same: to ensure you feel valued and confident every time you shop with Vastrang.

 

Cancellation Policy – Vastrang

At Vastrang, every product is prepared with care, and many items are customized specially for each customer. To maintain this level of quality and efficiency, we follow a strict No-Cancellation Policy for all orders.

No Cancellation After Order Placement

Once an order is successfully placed, it cannot be canceled under any circumstances. This applies to all product categories on our website.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Blouses, stitched blouses, and ready-to-wear sarees are crafted specifically on order. Since these items are personalized and made exclusively for you, they are not eligible for cancellation after the order has been confirmed.

Urgent Orders

If you need a product urgently, we request you to WhatsApp our customer support team before placing the order. Our team will guide you regarding availability, dispatch time, and delivery timelines.
Once the order is placed—urgent or regular—it will not be canceled.


Item Received in Damaged Condition / Manufacturing Defect / Wrong Item Delivered

At Vastrang, every product goes through strict quality checks before dispatch. However, in rare cases of manual or transit-related errors, we are here to help.

1. Reporting an Issue

If you receive a damaged item, a product with a manufacturing defect, or a wrong item, please contact us within 2 days of delivery.
Email us at support@vastrang.in (or your preferred email) with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

This helps us verify the issue quickly and assist you better.

2. Replacement or Store Credit

Once your claim is approved, we will:

  • Replace the product at the earliest, or

  • Provide a store gift card / store credit, as per your preference

(Kindly note: cash refunds are not provided.)

3. Return Shipping

Currently, we do not offer reverse pickup.
The product must be shipped back by the customer to our return address.
A ₹100 courier reimbursement will be issued once the product is received and inspected.

4. Dye, Color Bleed & Fabric Nature

Many of our sarees are color-dyed and may display mild color bleed, which is normal for such fabrics.
A gentle wash is recommended.
Claims, returns, or exchanges will not be accepted for natural color bleeding.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Strictly no return or exchange is allowed for:

  • Stitched blouses

  • Ready-to-wear sarees

  • Custom-made / made-to-order items

  • Products with artisanal or handcrafted detailing

  • Clearance sale items (all clearance sales are final)

6. Our Commitment

We take customer satisfaction seriously and ensure every order is checked and verified before dispatch. Still, if something goes wrong, we are committed to rectifying it with fairness and transparency.

Do Not Like the Product / Product Not as Shown

At Vastrang, we put great effort into presenting every product with accurate descriptions, detailed images, and true-to-color visuals. However, slight variations can occur due to screen resolution, lighting, or fabric characteristics.

If you feel the product is not as expected or you simply do not like it after receiving it, we truly understand — preferences can differ.
However, in such cases, Vastrang follows a strict No Return / No Refund policy.

This policy applies to:

  • Products that do not match personal preference

  • Items perceived differently due to display or color variations

  • Products that look slightly different from how they appeared in photos

We encourage customers to read the product details carefully and contact our team for clarification before placing an order.

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are always available to help you choose the right product before you purchase.

Stitching & Fit Issues

At Vastrang, we work closely with our experienced tailoring team to offer well-stitched and high-quality garments. However, as you may already know, achieving a perfect fit often requires minor adjustments—even with your personal tailor.

Recommendation for Best Fit

For the most accurate and comfortable fit, we always recommend getting the product stitched or altered by your local tailor, who can take exact measurements in person.
We understand that international customers might not have easy access to tailoring services, which is why we offer stitching support at a nominal cost.

Free Alteration Service

If your stitched product needs adjustment, we are happy to assist:

  • You can ship the product back to us for free alteration.

  • Return shipping to Vastrang must be arranged by the customer.

  • After alteration, one-side shipping charges will be covered by Vastrang.

Stitched Items Are Non-Returnable

Please note that any stitched, altered, or custom-made product cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

 

 

Beads & Sequins Coming Off

Many premium sarees and garments at Vastrang feature delicate handwork, including beads, sequins, stones, and other embellishments. These elements are intricately crafted and, by nature, may loosen or fall off over time.

Normal Behavior of Handwork Products

Even with careful handling, packing, and shipping, slight bead or sequin fall is considered normal for embellished products.
This is not treated as a defect, as such detailing is hand-applied and delicate.

Tailor Adjustments Recommended

Most minor issues can be fixed easily during stitching or alteration.
Your local tailor can:

  • Reinforce the loose area

  • Hide the section with fewer sequins

  • Refix the embellishments securely

Before considering a return request, please check with your tailor if the piece can be adjusted — in most cases, it can be resolved quickly.

Replacement Limitations

Even if a replacement is issued, the new piece may also have similar minor bead or sequin fall, as this is a natural characteristic of handcrafted and embellished products.
